How to celebrate Eid in style

Eid Al Adha is a happy occasion for all Muslims and people meet their families and friends. Before celebrating Eid , you have to do several things. I’m going to write about what to do before and during Eid.

First, you have to buy cloth and give to tailor to make clothes but you should make it before one month to make sure the clothes fit you and give a chance if they don’t fit to have time to rapier them. The second step is you have to buy sheep and food such as fruit and chocolate for guests and clean your house. On first day, you have to pray is Al Eid prayer then go home and to the Barber shop to cut your hair then go to your family and your friends. After that, you go have to meet the guest and eat lunch with them. Lastly you go anywhere you want in rest of the Eid holiday.

In conclusion, I think it’s long procedure but if you follow all the steps, it’s lovely and this is a chance to stay with your family and friends and break the routine.

Global warming

The global warming is an environmental problem which defines as the increase in the world’s temperatures, which is believed to be caused in part by the greenhouse effect and reduction of the ozone layer, water sea level and air pollution. I will explain how global warming effects our environments and life.

The environment scientists believed that global warming has many causes and effects on all living creatures. They think that there are many reasons which affect on the global, but the most effective are the industries. However, the effect of this problem has been raised to become noticeable. For example, the number of Categories 4 and 5 hurricanes have almost doubled in the last 30 years. Furthermore, Malaria has spread to higher altitudes in places like the Colombian Andes, 7,000 feet above sea level which is very strange. In addition, at least 279 species of plants and animals are already responding to global warming, moving closer to the poles. This is not all, because it’s predictable to have many other problems in the future like. Therefore, Deaths from global warming will double in just 25 years. Another problem is that The Arctic Ocean also could melt in the next five decades which result in submerging many lands for example, low Europe countries, Bangladish and part of India. As sea ice cover decreases there will be more human activities such as commercial shipping, oil, gas and mining exploration and development, and military activities in previously untouched areas of the Arctic. (Schafer)

They are many solutions for global warming problem. The first solution with diverting the usage of natural sours of energy like solar cell or water fall. Another solution is applying a streaks regulation for industries to reduce the emissions of green house gases.
Reducing greenhouse gases, they argued, also meant cleaner air, and targeting fossil fuel emissions in particular had dramatic health benefits (Sheldon)

In conclusion, I believe that the global warming is very serious issue Not only the humans lives, but on the living creatures too. I believe as it predictable to have more global warming affects in the future. We can start to solve this problem seriously right now before the worse happen.

Cool Cities

Most cities in the world have heat and CO2 emissions due to modern life style for example consuming a lot of electricity and transportation. Therefore they made new project which called Cool Cities. Cool Cities have basics needs for life like water, electricity and transportations but friendly for environment. However there are two main problems for this type of cities now I’m going to describe my research for problems.

First of all, the world population growth is high and they were survey and it shows the increasing will be around 9.1 billion. These cool cities can’t have too many people. For example Masder City can take around 47thosund people to live there. Therefore too many people will lift to live in global warming.

The second problem it cost too much money to build, Masder City will cost around $22billion dollar in, addition many country around a world are poor and not everyone can live in Cool Cites. Another problem it will consume much energy to build.
The third problem is the people life style it difficult to change because of transportations its means no car there or taxi should all people who want to live there use public transports like electric trains.

To conclude, Cool Cities have many negative points more than positive. It is not practical to say most people can live in Cool Cities.

Carbon Footprint

Many people in these days with the modern life style consumes a lot of energy due miss understanding of carbon foot print or its consequences. Carbon foot print it is a scale which measures the earth of energy consumed by humans. This scale means how many planets which need for each person. Now I am going to describe my research in this essay.

They are many definitions for describe meaning of carbon foot print. Let’s see at the right definition for it. A carbon foot print is measurement of life and climate however; green houses gases we produced with poor knowledge. According to website, it was stated that a carbon footprint is measure of impact of our activities have on the environment ,and in climate change due to the amount of green house gases produced in our life through burning fossil fuels for power ,transportation or heating .

I calculated my carbon footprint by using official’s website (WWF) and my average 4.39 planets. This website calculate food, travel, home and staff. I used the second website (UAE Heros) and my average was 3.50planet. I consume more energy in IT and cooling. I compared my result with my classmate. The first one was Abdulla Al Kindi his average was 10 planets .The second one was Mohammed Al Attas his Average was 2.68 planet .The third one was Hadi his average was 1.68 planet. We are consuming more cooling energy because of hot climate.

Inconlucion have to change my life style by at least turn off all devices whenever I go out of my room. Also, I should use the energy saver bulbs light and I recommend my entire friend to change their habit.

An Inconvenient Truth

Al Gore the man who was a previous Vice President of United States of America introduced a documentary movie about global warming. Al Gore stated in his movie which called “An Inconvenient Truth” the danger of global warming and the direction the earth environment is heading. Let’s see through ly about this movie and Al Gore Highlights.

In his movie Al Gore supported his speech and claims of global warming reality by photographs which bring out two different times from the same area, and an animated movie that shows clearly the event s that cause that area to be as shown on the second picture. This dramatic visual, graphs and with many statics shown by Al Gore helped in driving the point close home and warns that if we do nothing toward this catastrophic phenomenon will have serious effects which might destroy our civilization and wipe out other species on earth (Steige). By asking viewers to hold hands, he made this case not only matters him but should matters all people because we are part of it and effect us all, and to join the effort for benefiting the whole world.

In other hand some people criticized Al Gore’s movie because it is so insignificant to present about global warming since it has no effect on us. Another criticizing he bombarded the audience with many scientific words and phrases that made the movie so boring to a presenter they were looking forward to be more entertaining. In addition some scientists criticized the realistic of these figures and statics that Al Gore stated in his movie saying that it is too overacted and ambitious (Steve).

In fact the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” made us stop and think about the future of our earth and what to act to save our planet whether we agree what stated in the movie completely refutes.

Global warming

Global warming is an important ecological issue that has many negative effects upon our environment. Global warming, or what has been called the Greenhouse effect, is the result of a fourfold ecological process.
In the first place Sunlight radiates from the sun, through space, to Earth’s atmosphere when this the sunlight enters the atmosphere and hits Earth. Some of it turns into heat energy in the form of infrared light. Next the heat gets absorbed by surrounding air and land, which in turn makes it warms. Then the Infrared rays that are remitted into the atmosphere are trapped by greenhouse gases. Finally the gas then absorbs the light and is remitted back to the Earth’s surface and warms it even more. Left on its own this natural process keeps our planet warm enough for habitation. However with the increases in temperature, caused by modern industry, our current way of life could become threatened.

In conclusion, I think we should decrease using green house gases and search for other power sources.
